A pub converted from a home garage.
When it first opened, the food was delicious, and Gen-san's service was excellent.
He would pour his own beer and carry his own dishes after eating.
I considered myself a "regular."
(Well, everyone does that, I suppose.)
However, the place was honestly too noisy because it was filled with members of the theater troupe led by Yumiko Fujita.
Even so, I don't dislike Yumiko Fujita, so I bought tickets from Gen-san, a member of the troupe, and went to see a performance. But, unbelievably, when I spoke to him, Gen-san looked at me like, "Who are you?" and stammered.
I wondered if the atmosphere was different, so I gave up at the time and went back to the restaurant.
But again, I was treated like a first-time customer.
Did I do something to Gen-san?
I had been there more than 10 times in a short period of time...
Even so, I would order appetizers for events.
But the food was disappointing in terms of price, appearance, and taste.

It's been quite a while since I last went, but I'm still so sad about it that I can't forget it.

Delicious! Reasonable price! At first I thought the owner might be gruff, but all the dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. I thought it might be an unwelcoming place for first-timers, but I was very satisfied even though it was my first time! I would like to go again (^O^)

I was looking for a new izakaya to try, and I happened upon this one.

I couldn't stay long, so I can't give a proper review, but
it was a nice place.

The deep-fried yam with seaweed was perfectly grated and deep-fried, with just the right amount of salt.

I was suddenly called to another izakaya, so I ordered the fried chicken and spring rolls to go. Both the spring rolls and fried chicken were delicious. I think they would have been even crispier and more delicious if I had eaten them inside. 👍️

It would have been even better if they had sashimi.

Smoking is allowed.
There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant.
I didn't use the restroom, so I can't say how clean it is.

I'd like to return and spend some time here again.
